Find Your Sparkle.
We partner with a huge network of Pacific Northwest movers and shakers across youth and family services who love young people and love service providers! We come from direct service, and understand the complexity, challenges, hopes, fears, and opportunities our community faces on a daily basis. We create fun, creative, collaborative learning spaces where all of our collective brilliance can shine - because that is how we build the world we see in our dreams.
Social Dreaming Matrix: July
Dreams are an important resource to activate the power of our communal imagination. When accessed and shared, they represent a way of thinking together. Social Dreaming is a practice of bringing our individual dreams into the collective, making shared meaning through the offerings, associations, visions and feelings that emerge. Dreams and associations are shared without attachment to the dreamer, but as a part of the collective we all hold pieces of. The goal is to identify patterns, themes, and dynamics within the group's collective unconscious, revealing insights, new ideas, and emerging possibilities. Whether you have attended social dreaming before or not, we would love for anyone and everyone to join as many sessions as you can/would like! Better yet, bring a friend.
In this series of 3 virtual Social Dreaming Matrixes and 1 strategy session, we invite youth workers and changemakers to come together to see what insights our dreams are holding. We are tasked with doing impossible feats, but we are not alone.

Book Club: All About Love
What might All About Love have to teach us about youth work?
We believe strong communities don’t happen by accident. They’re built through small, steady practices of care and responsibility. This gathering is one small spark in that work.
Spark Action Lab is hosting a community conversation inspired by the ideas in All About Love by bell hooks, exploring what they might mean for the practice of supporting young people. Together, we’ll reflect on love as a set of practices-care, commitment, knowledge, responsibility, respect, and trust-and how those ideas show up in the daily work of building relationships and communities that support young people.
This gathering is especially intended for youth workers who want space to think, reflect, and connect with others in the field. We also welcome schemers and dreamers who care about community and the long work of ending youth homelessness.
Come curious. Come thoughtful. Come ready to connect.
Have an awesome idea to bring people together?
